Female Human Model.

Female Human Model.

Throughout this turn we were given the task of creating a female human model in are lessons. We started out with the human head. I haven't done modeling like this before as everything been rather simple. The human body however is not simple. the head was the hardiest bit for me hence why my model doesnt have any ears. I tryed but to no luck, if I didnt have other work for this project (statue and animation) I would have gone back and tryed to complete the ears. After the ears we moved onto the human hand. I found the hand a lot easyer to do and started to have a lot of fun with it. I remodeled the hand a good  number of times as it would always seem to look like a doctors glove filled with air! After the hand I started to work on the body. I was starting to get the hang of it at this point but still found it very hard. I feel its not optimized at all and could still do with some work but im happy with it none the less. I put the head on-top of the body and then worked on the arms when I placed the hands in the correct place. The arms and hands had to be the easy part of this. I also had a lot of problems with the feet. For the first half of the model we were given a tutorial created by our teacher but for the second half he gave us a link to a online tutorial. This tutorial didnt help me much when it came to the feet as the sound cuts out half way through and speeds through adding the toe.

This is a screenshot of the back of the model. Im happy with how this turned out and the join in the back even looks like part of the spine.

front of the model along with a skeleton.
The skeleton you see in front of the model is what you use for animating your model. each joint rotates and moves so once its placed inside the model and join together you can move the model around. This allows you to create animations with it.
